Who we are
Feyrox is an outdoor equipment maker based in Latvia. We are the data controller for the information described here, and you can reach us any time at info@feyrox.com.
What we collect
When you place an order we receive your name, email address, phone number, shipping address and billing address, along with the details of what you ordered. If you buy as a business, we also receive your business name and VAT number where you provide one.
We never see or store your card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe’s own checkout page; your card number does not pass through our website or our systems.
If you email us, we keep that correspondence so we can help you and keep a record of what was agreed.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To fulfil your order — making the stove reach you, handling returns and warranty claims. This is necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To meet legal obligations — accounting, tax and consumer-law records we are required to retain.
- To prevent fraud — Stripe screens payments on our behalf, which is our legitimate interest in not being defrauded.
We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing email unless you have asked us to.
Who else handles it
We share only what is needed, only with parties who need it:
- Stripe — payment processing and fraud screening. Stripe is a payment controller in its own right; see stripe.com/privacy.
- Our delivery carrier — your name, address and phone number, so the parcel can be delivered.
- Customs authorities — for orders shipped outside the EU, the declaration details required by law.
- Our hosting and email providers — who store the site and our correspondence on our behalf.
Some of these providers operate outside the EU. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept for as long as Latvian accounting and tax law requires us to retain them. Email correspondence is kept while it is useful for support and warranty, then deleted.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to another provider. You can also object to processing we base on legitimate interest.
Email info@feyrox.com and we’ll respond within one month. Note that we can’t delete records we are legally obliged to retain, such as invoices, until that period has passed.
If you think we’ve handled your data badly, you can complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, dvi.gov.lv) or to the authority in your own country.
Cookies and this website
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is disclosed to Google when a page loads. Stripe’s checkout, which is hosted on Stripe’s own domain, sets the cookies it needs to process the payment and detect fraud.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing orders will be emailed to the customers concerned.
